Welcome to Function Point Help!

• Tabs on the top menu bar are laid out exactly like they are in your Function Point system.

• Clicking on the tabs in the top menu will give you information associated to that section of the system.
• Keep in mind that we have formated the help site with common naming conventions which may not be exactly the same as your configured system. The following modules are configurable names, but the information is the same.
• Briefs
• Projects
• Estimates
• Jobs
  
• If the item you are looking for falls under one of the drop-down sections in Function Point, you will find the related information by first clicking on the tab and then either selecting the appropriate item from the table of contents or by scrolling through the page.
  
• Report and Administrative information are located in the Reports and Admin sections accordingly.  In your Function Point system, the Admin section is represented by a "lock" icon located on the right of the top menu.

• The "Search" field will search all content in the Help site.
• If you do a search, it will link you to the pages with information related to your text search .
• Once you have selected the related page, you can then search for the specific text/information you are looking for:
• On a Mac you can do this by holding the "apple key and the f key" and inputting your search word(s).
• On a PC you can do this by holding the "Ctrl key and the f key" and inputting your search word(s).
• Make sure that the "match case" option is not selected for ease of searching.

• The left hand menu deals with areas in the Function Point system that do not fall under the top menu tabs.
